Sunday, 28th June | 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Join us for a fantastic afternoon of family fun, creativity, community and innovation in the beautiful grounds of Hampton Court House.

This year’s Summer Fête will feature live music, artisan stalls, family activities, workshops, games, food, student-led businesses, creative makers, STEM-inspired experiences, and our brand-new Innovation Corner.

From hands-on activities and young entrepreneurs to arts, crafts and community favourites, there’ll be something for all ages to enjoy.

All proceeds raised by the Friends support enrichment opportunities, events and experiences for the children at Hampton Court House.

Funfair Rides

Classic fête fun for all ages, with rides and attractions throughout the afternoon.

Innovation Corner

A hands-on space for curious minds, featuring creative engineering challenges, marble runs, 3D printing, laser-cut maker activities and invention-inspired experiences for children and families.

Discover, build, experiment and create through playful activities designed to spark imagination and creativity.

Young Entrepreneurs Corner

Discover creative student-run stalls from our young entrepreneurs, featuring handmade products, original ideas and mini businesses created by HCH students.

🐾 HCH Dog Show

A favourite from years gone by returns! Join the fun with dog show categories, agility challenges, rosettes and prizes for our four-legged visitors.

Artisan Market

Browse a lovely selection of artisan stalls, independent brands, makers and local businesses.

Live Music

Enjoy an afternoon of live entertainment featuring performances from our student bands, our DJ, and special guest performances from School of Rock. The School of Rock team will also be joining us with a stand on the day.

Traditional Games

Classic fête games and family favourites for children and families to enjoy throughout the afternoon.

Face Painting

A popular Summer Fête favourite for younger visitors by B'Fly Face Painting.

Creative Corner

A lively creative space packed with arts, crafts and hands-on activities for both younger and older children throughout the afternoon, including creative workshops, sketching activities and artistic challenges with Art-K Kingston.

Sports Activities

Join in with friendly outdoor games and activities for all ages.

2nd Hand PE Kit Sale

Pick up quality second-hand PE kit while supporting the Friends.

Food Vans & Sweet Treats

Enjoy a delicious selection of food and summer treats throughout the afternoon, including gourmet burgers and authentic falafel, freshly made crêpes and waffles, artisan ice cream from Julian's Ice, and a wonderful selection of homemade cakes, including creations generously donated by a professional pastry chef and our local bakers.

Friends Bar & Coffee Van

Relax and enjoy refreshments from the Friends Bar, serving Pimms, beer, wine, soft drinks and more, alongside great coffee from Sol N Shine Coffee.

Young Entrepreneurs Corner

Our Young Entrepreneurs Corner celebrates the creativity, imagination and entrepreneurial spirit of HCH students.

From handmade crafts and original creations to inventive ideas, games, artwork and small businesses, each stall is entirely student-led and full of personality.

It’s always one of the most inspiring parts of the Summer Fête, giving children the opportunity to build confidence, develop new skills and showcase their ideas in a real-world setting.

Featured young entrepreneurs, stall photos and product highlights coming soon.

Innovation Corner

New for this year, our Innovation Corner invites children and families to explore invention, creativity, design and hands-on making through interactive experiences and playful engineering-inspired activities.

From building giant marble runs and exploring 3D printing to creating laser-cut jewellery and taking part in invention challenges, the Innovation Corner is designed to encourage imagination, experimentation and curiosity in a fun and accessible way.

Giant Marble Run Challenge

Build imaginative marble runs using cardboard, tubes, ramps and recycled materials while experimenting with speed, movement, structure and creative problem-solving.

Children can test ideas, adapt designs and take on playful engineering-style challenges throughout the activity.

Laser-Cut Design Studio

Explore laser-cut creations and create jewellery, decorative pieces and personalised designs through hands-on maker activities.

3D Printing Workshops

Discover how digital ideas become real objects through demonstrations and interactive 3D printing experiences.

Water Sustainability Experience

Meet our Water Sommelier for a unique sensory experience exploring taste, water sources and sustainability in an engaging and family-friendly way.

A favourite from years gone by is back!

With plenty of four-legged visitors joining us each year, we’re delighted to bring back the HCH Dog Show as part of the Summer Fête.

Whether your dog is a seasoned show champion or simply enjoys being the centre of attention, we’d love to see them take part.

Entry is just £2 per category, payable on the day, with no advance registration required.

Rosettes will be awarded to category winners, every entrant will receive an official HCH Dog Show certificate, and our Best in Show Champion will receive a special prize.

Dogs must be well-behaved and kept on a lead at all times, except when participating in designated activities.

Practical Information for Summer Fete Visitors

Parking

There is no parking available directly onsite at Hampton Court House during the Summer Fête.

Limited public parking is available nearby at Hampton Court Green car park and surrounding local parking areas. Visitors are encouraged to use public transport where possible.

Public Transport

Train: Hampton Court train station is approximately a 5-minute walk away.

Buses: Local bus routes serving the area include 111, 216, 411, 461 and R68.

Dogs

Well-behaved dogs are always welcome at the Summer Fête but must be kept on a lead at all times.
