Ideas we’d like to bring to life

We’re working with the school to explore workshops and talks that could introduce pupils to new skills and interests. We’re still looking for suitable people, funding and dates, so the activities below are ideas we’re trying to arrange.

STEM and digital skills

We’d love to hear from people who could share experience in robotics, engineering, coding or AI literacy through an engaging talk or practical workshop.

Innovation and enterprise

Our Young Entrepreneurs stalls at the June 2026 fête showed how much creativity pupils have to share. We’re interested in opportunities to explore design, problem-solving, entrepreneurship and practical financial literacy with the school.

Leadership and communication

Other ideas include talks and workshops on public speaking, debate, critical thinking and leadership, with contributions from people working in the arts, sciences, business and beyond.

Could you help?

You might be able to give a talk, run a workshop, suggest someone suitable, introduce us to a university or community organisation, or help identify funding.

We’ll explore each suggestion with the school. What goes ahead will depend on suitability for pupils, available funding and dates.
