The Friends of HCH has a proud history of supporting student enrichment. Over the years, your donations have funded Maths workshops, Francophonie Week activities, the Library Bus, and prizes for the Art Competition and Dragons’ Den.
Building on this success, and following feedback from our recent Parent Survey, we are now expanding our focus. We aim to support the school in providing a modern, "Future-Ready" enrichment programme that equips students for a rapidly changing world.
We are looking to fund and facilitate workshops, guest speakers, and equipment across three key pillars. We need expertise in any of the following areas:
Robotics & Engineering: Hands-on hardware workshops.
AI Literacy: Understanding the ethics and application of Artificial Intelligence.
Coding: Real-world programming skills.
Design Thinking: Creative problem solving and prototyping.
Entrepreneurship: Mentorship for student startups (e.g., Young Entrepreneurs Market).
Financial Literacy: Practical money management skills.
Debate: Coaching in rhetoric and public speaking.
Critical Thinking: Workshops on analyzing information in the digital age.
Guest Speakers: Inspiring leaders from the Arts, Sciences, and Business.
We cannot do this alone. We need the vast expertise of the HCH parent body and local community.
Do you work in one of these fields? Could you give a talk or run a workshop?
Does your company offer educational grants?
