Who We Are: Mission & Governance

Intro: The Friends of HCH

The Friends of Hampton Court House is the official Parents’ Association of the school and a Registered Charity (No. 1202096).

While every parent is automatically a member of "The Friends" when their child joins the school, the charity is managed by a volunteer Steering Group of parent trustees who oversee fundraising, compliance, and strategic planning.

Our Mission

We are dedicated to building a vibrant, inclusive community.

Our purpose is to bring parents, families, and staff together to create a welcoming environment that supports the education of our children.

Our three core objectives are:

Community Building: To foster a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere where families can connect and create lasting memories.

Enrichment Funding: To raise funds for facilities, equipment, and experiences that go beyond the standard curriculum.

Future-Ready Support: To facilitate partnerships and opportunities that prepare students for the modern world.

How We Work (Parent-Led)

Charitable Governance

As a registered charity, we operate under our own constitution and manage our funds independently. This ensures that every penny raised is accounted for and spent according to our charitable objectives.

Our Decision Process

Our fundraising priorities are driven directly by the parent community.

Instead of simply absorbing costs, the Steering Group identifies specific areas where we can add value—such as our new STEM & Outreach initiative—based on parent surveys and feedback. This ensures that your donations are directed towards the initiatives that matter most to our families.

Transparency & Policies

We are committed to high standards of governance. You can view our key policies below:
