Who we are

We’re the Friends of Hampton Court House, the school’s Parents’ Association and a registered charity (No. 1202096). We’re run by parent volunteers, bringing families and staff together and raising funds to enrich our children’s school life.

Every parent becomes a member of the Friends when their child joins the school. A volunteer Steering Group of parent trustees oversees the charity’s fundraising, governance and planning.

Our purpose

We want families to feel welcome, connected and able to take part. Through our events and fundraising, we support facilities, equipment and experiences that benefit pupils and the school community.

We’re also trying to arrange workshops and talks with the school in areas such as STEM, innovation and leadership. These depend on finding suitable people, funding and dates, and agreeing the activities with the school.

How we work

We operate under our constitution and manage the charity’s funds independently, in line with our charitable objectives. Parents’ ideas and feedback help shape the opportunities we explore with the school.

Join in

You can help for an hour at an event, support planning or administration from home, share your expertise or introduce us to a potential speaker or supporter. You don’t need to join a committee or make a regular commitment.
