Dear Parents,
We will soon launch a new newsletter; for anyone interested, please submit your interest here to stay up-to-date: https://forms.gle/bcG2PDKf5gB9VGwm8. You will also find all our latest news on our homepage: Friends of Hampton Court House.
For today’s newsletter, we will keep it short but want to say thank you for all your generous contributions to enable us to host a delicious and diverse Teacher Breakfast
Class Reps’ Evening October 4th 7-9pm All new class reps can meet the Friends Steering Group and the school’s Senior Leadership Team on October 4th. It will ensure all the essential information is provided and you will be able to share any feedback or get answers to questions that might have come up within your class.
Halloween spooky Festival Bake Sale and party: On October 20th, the last day before half-term, we will organise a spooky Halloween Party for all Prep students with a DJ and also offer a spooky cake sale for the whole school.
Book sale: We plan to hold another book sale, this time for all Prep (Y1-Y6), to coincide with the launch of the new library on October 10th. That day will also be Mental Health Day / Hello Yellow Day. If you want to donate some books, please hand them to your form tutor, and one of the Friends will store them in.
Class Rep Nominations: Please consider volunteering if your child's class still needs to find a representative. Class representatives are essential for effective communication between the school, parents, and students. They liaise between the Friends of the School and the parents of their class to share key information and help organise volunteers for social and educational programmes. We still need class reps for nursery, Y5 and Y12
More to come shortly as part of our new newsletter
